Karen Chamberland/Riding Instructor Karen has been involved with horses since the age of 3 and involved in the 4H program for 35 years. She started showing horses at the age of 15 years in western equitation and trail. She continued to compete in the western division as well as the English divisions. She has been instructing in both English and western for 35 years and has judged shows for 20 years. Karen has her judging certification for 4H shows. Karen has been a staff member/instructor at J&S for 7 years. Karen specializes in training beginners, teaching the elements of safety from the ground up, caring for the animal, recognizing health problems, and sportsmanship. Michelle Hoyt/Free Lance Trainer
Michelle is a free lance trainer here at J&S. Michelle's career started at a young age riding her pony. She continued her love for horses through the 4H horse program. Michelle has been training for over 20 years; she has shown in open shows as well as Quarter Horse and Appaloosa circuits. Michelle has qualified 5 years at Equine affair in the versatility Challenge. She specializes in training western pleasure, reining, cutting, trail, and equitation.
